Super league teams are pressing on the league—organizers, the Super League of Malawi (Sulom), to put their house in order as the league nears the end.
With four games to decide the champions, Sulom has made questionable decisions that without providing answers to stakeholders. Among such decisions, is changing match venues and congested fixtures.
Sulom yesterday released week 29 fixtures showing that on Sunday, 14 December, leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will host Ekhaya FC at Mpira Stadium (in Blantyre), with second-placed Mighty Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium hosting Civil Service United.
The decision has sparked some controversy, as Bullets has written to Sulom protesting the move. Bullets states that their home ground is Kamuzu Stadium and not Mpira Stadium.

They have since asked Sulom to take the match back to Kamuzu Stadium if not fix the match at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
According to a source who spoke to Bola News, Sulom decided to move the Bullets game to Mpira Stadium in response to calls from the public for Bullets and Wanderers games to take place on the same day.
Blantyre has only one big stadium, which is Kamuzu, which is seconded by Mpira, with a 6000 capacity.
Teams have also expressed disappointment on how Sulom is releasing fixtures. Relegation-threatened Mzuzu City Hammers and Mighty Tigers remain with three games, and they will play all games away.
The second-placed Wanderers will have to play five remaining games at home. These are some of the decisions people are questioning.
