The draw for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which will kick off on January 13, 2024, is set to take place on October 12, 2023, as the 24 countries that have qualified will learn their group-stage opponents.
The teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each. The first two teams in each group will have the privilege of qualifying for the Round of 16, alongside the four best teams ranked third across all six groups.
The qualified teams have been placed in four pots based on their FIFA ranking. The hosts, Ivory Coast, are automatically in pot 1, alongside the defending champions, Senegal, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria.
