BolaNews rates the performances of the Zambian team against The Gambia.
GOALKEEPER
Jeban Tembo ( 3/10)
He could be faulted for the first goal and conceded a penalty, which was a result of poor game reading.
DEFENDERS
Lombe Mutale ( 5/10)
He failed to build on his performance in the previous game, as he lost possession several times.
Happy Nsiku (4/10)
His miscommunication with the goalkeeper led to the first goal. Overall, he was a culprit at the back as he lost the ball cheaply a number of times.
Amon Chulu (4/10)
He had a poor game, and toward the end, he appeared out of place.
Gift Mphande (5/10)
Much was expected after he put in a great shift in the first game, but last night wasn’t at his best.

MIDFIELDERS
Dominic Kanda (4/10)
Failed to redeem himself in this game, wasn’t solid enough, and was easily dispossessed.
Julius Kumwenda ( 4/10)
He didn’t have so much impact on the game, and he was poor on the night.
ATTACKERS
Rickson Ng’ambi (4/10)
The goal scorer in the first game against Benin was below average. Much was expected from him but he didn’t live up to the expectations as he did not receive enough service, hence his substitution at half-time.
He didn’t receive much of the ball, but he kept fighting.

Despite not receiving enough service, he kept on fighting and pushing, but it was enough.
