The Lesotho National Team foreign-based players have started joining the Likuena camp ahead of the back-to-back 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Zambia.
Head coach, Vaseline Jelusic who is expected to announce his final squad this week has been hard at work with the local players.
The Likuena played two back-to-back friendly matches against the Flames of Malawi last month in preparation for Zambia.
On Monday, 32-year-old Mbabane Highlanders attacking midfielder Tswarelo Bereng was the first foreign-based player to join the camp.

Bereng was part of Lesotho’s squad for their first two AFCON qualifiers, but he did not play.
The experienced midfielder captained Lesotho when they beat Zambia 2-1 at the 2021 COSAFA Cup in South Africa.
Meanwhile, Motebang Sera who scored a brace in that match is expected to arrive in camp on Wednesday.
Sera came off the bench to score a brace against a star-studded Chipolopolo in 2021.
The 27-year-old striker has 4 goals for Royal AM in the South Africa top-flight this season and has been tipped to haunt Zambia again.
Lesotho aiming for debut AFCON appearance
Sitting bottom of Group H with 1 point, Lesotho takes on Zambia at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on March 23rd. The return leg will be played at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on March 26th.
Ivory Coast leads the group with 4 points, while Zambia and Comoros are tied at 3 points.
Lesotho who held a studded Ivory Coast to a 0-0 draw in their last group match in the qualifiers are looking to qualify for the Africa Cup for the first time in their history.
