Morocco v South Africa kicks off at 21:00

Morocco host South Africa in the two sides opening AFCON Qualifier group match.

The Atlas Lions having recently travelled back from North America where they lost 3-0 to the USA in an International Friendly.

South Africa have themselves been inactive since March the 29th when they lost 5-0 to France in an International Friendly.

Home team advantage

Home Ground advantage hugely lies in the hands of Morocco who stand unbeaten in 15 AFCON Qualifier matches with 13 wins and 2 draws while they have scored 31 goals and only conceded two goals.

Head to head

The two sides have faced each other on 6 occasions with each side winning twice and the other two matches ending in draws.

Overall each point will count as there are only three teams ( Morocco, South Africa and Liberia) in the group after FIFA banned Zimbabwe from International football.

This is definitely a match to look out for.
