The Gambia U-20 National Team defeated Nigeria 1-0 to advance to the final of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
A goal from Adama Bojang in the seventh minute was enough to help the young scorpions secure their ticket to the final.
The Gambia won all their matches without conceding a goal in the tournament and they scored in each game.

They will now face Senegal in the final at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday.
Their coach Abdoulie Bojang believes his team deserved to be in the final of the tournament.
He added that his team will look to stop Senegal from winning its fourth trophy in a row as a country.
“It is a deserved victory. We will fight for the title against Senegal,” he said. “Senegal is winning everything right now. We must prevent them on Saturday.”
Bojang’s men will face an uphill battle in the final against the Teranga Cubs, who did not lose a match on their way to the final.
Senegal defeated Young Carthage Eagles 3-0 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium to advance to the final.
The three times runners-up will look to be the fourth Senegalese to win a trophy.
All of CAF’s last three major international tournaments have been won by Senegal. They lifted the Africa Cup, CHAN, and Beach Soccer AFCON consecutively.
