Kabwe Warriors Defender Killian Kanguluma is confident his side will reach the finals of the 2024 ABSA Cup following their emphatic win over Indeni football club on Saturday.
Warriors advanced to the ABSA Cup semifinals with a 5-0 victory over National League One team Indeni Football Club.
Kenny Phiri, Mundia Phiri, Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba, and Matthews Tolopa scored for the Kabwe-based team.
FC MUZA, who overcame Power Dynamos 1-0, will take on Warriors, the five-time champions of the Zambian Super League.
Speaking in an exclusive interview Bolanews, the defender expressed confidence that the team will reach the finals of the only competition in Zambia.
“I see the team reaching the finals of the competition, reaching the last round of four oof the ABSA Cup is a plus for me, because this season its only trophy we can get,”
He added that FC MUZA will not be a walk over team and the team will get back to the drawing board and plan for the Choma based side well.
“FC MUZA is a different team and facing them will be another pressure, but we will go and prepare for them,” he said.
“This is to be my second season in Super league, my target is to win one medal for the league and just want to push my team to finish in a respective position compared to last season where we struggled, “noted kanguluma.

Kabwe Warriors have played 27 games thus far in the Zambian Super League, with 38 points, they are now ranked sixth on the log.
