Putellas played 62 minutes in her comeback match before being substituted with Spain leading 6-0.
The 29-year-old reigning FIFA best footballer of the Year will now look to re-establish her scoring form ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be held in New Zealand and Australia starting July 20, 2023.
