Chelsea have agreed with Villarreal to sign Nicolas Jackson, Villarreal have accepted Chelsea to pay just a little over €35m of the release clause, but with better payment terms. A medical is being scheduled. Jackson has already agreed personal terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s side and could be a strong addition to the Blue’s squad.
The Senegalese forward, who has three caps for his national side, could provide the answer in front of net that they’re looking for. Chelsea is in desperate need of a No 9, having struggled in front of goal last season, scoring a meagre 38 goals throughout the campaign.
