Several football fans are stranded in Ndola, the host city of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Zambia and Ivory Coast.
There is no longer any available lodging in the city, since all lodges and hotels are apparently fully booked.
A check by BolaNews at Fatmols, Crossroads, Protea Hostel, and Bestbed Lodge in Ndola found all rooms were taken, with some confirming reservations were made a week before.
Some fans have now been seen gathering at the Levy Mwanawansa stadium, waiting for tomorrow’s game.
It is also reported that ordinary tickets in Ndola, as well as the newly released KoPa jerseys, have sold out. The Football Association of Zambia, however, has not confirmed the reports.

The Chipolopolo Boys will only need a point to qualify for the Africa Cup for the first time since 2015.
In their last meeting, Zambia lost 3-1 with Patson Daka scoring the only goal for the Chipolopolo Boys.
Ivory Coast arrived in Zambia on Thursday without some of their star players such as Wilfred Zaha, Nicolas Pepe, and Sebastien Haller.
The Elephants, however, will bank on the likes of Frackie Kessie from Barcelona, Max Gradel, and Eric Baily among others.
