Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, has admitted that he would like to play in the English Premier League, but first, he must deliver a league title to Napoli fans.

The 24-year-old is currently the top scorer in Italian Serie A this season, having netted 19 goals in 21 appearances.

Following his impressive season with the Gli Azzurri, Osimhen was also named the best foreign athlete in Italy last week.

“A lot of people worldwide consider the premier league as the best league of the World. I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League someday. But it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum,” he said

The star striker also added that he is focused on winning the league title for Napoli fans

“As a football player, when you arrive in Napoli you fall in love even more with football, because they base all their life on the game and the support for the team. To be able to try to give them something to remember is a big mission for me,” he said

The Nigerian is on the verge of leading Napoli to their first league title since 1989-90. They are currently top of the league with 65 points in 25 games.
