Green Eagles Football Club will be looking to extend their unbeaten run as they host Kabwe Warriors in their week 5 fixture set for Choma Independence Stadium on Saturday.
The home side enter this encounter coming from the back of a 0-0 stalemate against Nkwazi last weekend.
The Choma-based side has begun their campaign on high, having recorded three wins and one draw.
Green Eagles are currently topping the group in stream B with 10 points from four matches played.
Perry Mutapa’s boys have been undefeated since the league began.
However, speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Mutapa declared his lads ready for the game.
“I think the preparations have gone well, more especially since we are home; no travelling. I think we are ready for the game,” he said.
“I think keeping a good number of clean sheets is a morale booster for the team. In the buildup to the preparations, I think we concentrated much on attack and finishing,” added Mutapa.
The former NAPSA Stars coach hopes the team will come to the party and collect the maximum points.
“We are telling the boys not to relax; we just have to focus, and hopefully tomorrow we are going to come out winners after 90 minutes,” concluded the coach.
