Mwenya Chipepo replaces Ian Bakala, who left Forest Rangers for Nkana FC in September of this year.
Three weeks after leaving his position as Power Dynamos coach, he signed a two-year, six-month contract with Forest Rangers.
Chipepo will be assisted by Manchi Janza as his first assistant.

The former Prison Leopards trainer’s appointment was made official today at the Dola Hill Stadium in Ndola.
“We firmly believe these appointments will not only instill hope among our stakeholders but also yield the desired results on the field,” said club Chairman Mwaba Mulawo at the press conference.

“With the exceptional quality of players at the club’s disposal and the expertise that the coaches bring, we firmly believe that Forest Rangers can both qualify for and defend the ABSA Cup,” he added.
Forest Rangers are currently 11th in the league on 14 points, three above the relegation zone.
