Dynamos key players Tanaka Shandirwa and Donald Mudadi, will not be playing against FC Platinum today, Saturday at Mandava.

The duo is on national duty, where the Warriors are playing Botswana in Gaborone, together with club head coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe.

The midfield partnership has been crucial for Dembare and the team as a whole. The pair won’t be playing in the team for the first time this season. Mudadi has five goals, making him the team’s leading scorer.

Dynamos assistant coach Lloyd ‘Mablanyo’ Chigowe will be in charge of the team but feels that they are going to battle without their best arsenal but believes it’s the best chance for others to shine.

“FC Platinum also have two players who are on national duty, but the unfortunate part on our side is that those two are our two key players.”

Chigowe issuing instructions.

“Mudadi being the club’s top goal scorer, a reliable goal getter, and our playmaker. The others who will be given a chance should step up to the plate and show what they are made of,”

“The Chibuku Cup gives us an opportunity to play in the Caf Confederation Cup which is very important for us. It is critical that we perform beyond our limits to be able to get results,” added Chigowe.

Chigowe confident of victory over Platinum.

Chigowe is certain that after being eliminated by Platinum in two consecutive past editions, they will turn the tables this time.

“I will make sure that I put out a team that is going to play with honour and dignity. A man who has experienced burns previously undoubtedly understands what it is like to deal with fire. We are meeting an opponent who believes in ball dominance and ball mastery, so it would be a humdinger of a match,” he said.
